A phone with MirrorLink cannot be connected to the car – Plné zrcadlení Vašeho telefonu v autě

If you have a Samsung phone, first check the item on your phone: Settings, connection, other connection options. There should be a MirrorLink item in the phone menu. If it is here, open it and check that it contains a list of MirrorLink certified applications and that they have time-valid certificates. If the condition is met and your car with MirrorLink 1.1 still does not see the phone, you are in the right section. If your phone does not have a MirrorLink item, but it was there before, go to the MirrorLink section has been removed from your phone here. Now let's deal with the problem that you have MirrorLink in your phone, you have certified applications with a time-valid certificate installed, and yet your phone is invisible to the car. Check first or try to replace your USB connection cable first. It is a very common cause of problems. If that doesn't help, find out if you have Android 9 or Android 10 installed on your phone. If so, Samsung has most likely removed the Samsung MirorLink 1.1 system application certificate from your phone. With Android 10, you will know this when you try to connect your phone to the car with a message that you receive in a notification on the phone display a few seconds after connecting to the car. For Android 9, however, the phone's display is black with the symbol of the connected car when connected, so you do not see this message. The reason why the certificate cannot be downloaded is that Samsung turned off the 17.6.2020 certification server and the connection cannot be established. Is this situation solvable? Yes, but only for the root price of your phone. What is root, what are the risks and how it can be done on your specific phone can be found in Google and YouTube. In general, the newer the phone, the more complex its root, and twice as much for Samsung phones. But you will almost always find the necessary video tutorial on YouTube, how it is possible to perform the whole operation. Before you begin, I recommend studying the site here . There is not only a description, but also links for the most famous brands of phones. For my person, I will definitely recommend using the TWRP boot loader and the Magisk root program, including the installation manager. Before starting root, make a complete backup of your phone, as all data will be deleted. All the necessary installation files in the latest version, the procedure of their installation and a description of what a root device is and what risks it entails can be found on the original author's website of Mr. Selva Kumar, for which he deserves our compliments and thanks. The link to his booths is here After successful installation and root of your phone, we can proceed to repair the malfunctioning MirrorLink connection. Although we are not able to replace the Samsung certificate (the original control file has several hundred kB of data and is encrypted using the SSL protocol), we can cleverly circumvent this matter. Using a simple user application, which must have the root right (superuser permission at startup), we simply tell the phone that the certificate is valid and override the status of the certificate from false to true in its system settings. To do this, you need to download the Unlocker For Rooted application using the download button. Extract the file on the PC, which will create an installation file with the apk extension. You copy it to the phone, install it and use the magisk manager to assign it the right superuser. Start with the FIX IT button and wait for the message that the repair was successful. Then restart the phone and you can connect it to the car. Thanks for this solution to the problem go to Russia, the author with the nickname Jen94.UnlockerForRooted DownloadThe phone connects to VW cars and you will see a list of certified MirrorLink applications on the car display. Probably with the symbols of the deleted car in applications. This means that MirrorLink works for you, but you still need to unblock MirrorLink while driving, which is described hereThis method works reliably on all tested phones with Android 9 and most with Android 10. If you are unable to fix the error on Android 10, first install the older version of the software with Android 9 and repair it on it. If the software version for your Android 9 phone does not exist and you are unable to repair the Andoid 10, contact me by email. For cars of brands other than VW, Seat and Škoda, it may be necessary to turn off the MirrorLink while the vehicle is being driven by a car service.
